Ideas come easily when I’m traveling. It’s probably why I feel best on the move.

We were driving back from the desert on New Year’s Day. I was in the passenger seat gazing and thought, “It seems like a good time to start going deeper with music.” I turned on a New Order album I don’t think I’ve ever listened to from start to finish. By the second song, I heard things I had never heard before. By the fifth, I was feeling inspired and already dreaming about what album we’d listen to next. And by the time it was over, this project was born.
